How to Clean Black Mold from Bathroom Sealant
Ewww. Nobody wants black mold growing in their shower. Not only is it unattractive, but it’s a health concern.
Luckily you can get rid of that mold (and prevent new mold from growing) with some supplies you probably already have at home.
How to Clean Black Mold from Bathroom Sealant
Shower and bath caulk almost ALWAYS eventually start to grow black mold in varying quantities.
With the bathroom having the most humidity of all rooms, along with the lack of air circulation it’s no wonder you find black mold thriving there.
So, cleaning the mold often is important for the silicone appearance and for your family’s health.
How To KILL The Black Mold
In order to kill mold from bathroom sealant, you can choose between several chemicals such as chlorine and ammonia, or a more natural method you could use if you don’t like chemicals is vinegar and baking soda. To make this mix 2/3 cups white vinegar and 2 teaspoons of baking soda into a spray bottle.
All you have to do then is spray your desired spray onto the mold for 30 mins and leave to soak.
After the spray has been sitting for at least 30 mins, the best way to remove the black is to use a toothbrush and an old towel.
Rinse ALL areas you sprayed well with warm water and dry.
